week 4 update

I finally figured out how to plot data points onto the skirt. This was a huge challenge for me since I’m just learning python but I figured it out with the help of some friends and good ol’ google and stack overflow. I like this piece as a version one. I’m not completely in love with it. I’m going to play with smoothing the skirt and the design and placement.

I’ve also talked to a friend whose 3D printed on a variety of material and she recommended resin.  By the end of this week I’m going to send this piece off to be printed. VERY SCARY. I’ll upload more design tweaks next week.
