This week I worked on the frame – sanding, priming, painting. Here’s a quick pic. I’m going to start with the VHS tape on Wednesday.
The frame stands 84″ tall x 30″ wide and 24″ deep. It attaches in the middle, one part slips into the other. I will have to do some tests runs with joining them after the tape is on and packing. I’m going to make skids for them to be tied to at the meeting point, surrounded by a cardboard box over the rest of the structure to keep the tape safe. I’m going to concentrate on this for the next few weeks because I think it will take some time and I want to be patient. Then I’ll get the semacode and set up the blogspot address and site (should be really straightforward, just the links). Sorry I missed you all on Sunday! I am sad our weekly meetings are coming to an end 🙁
