In which way(s) does your proposed project speak to the “Immigrant Experience”?
Its been a long time since I have been back to Poland. I have been thinking a lot lately about going there. How would it be? Who would I like to see? Where would I stay? Family, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins that are now married and have children I have never met. Would I be able to get in touch with old friends? Where would I like to go, there are so many places I have never been to there? Would I fit in? Should I move back, and would I like it?
Working on this gobelin is bringing me closer to my mom, and opening more communication with family there.
