My work this week was a series of experiments. I contacted some people from Puerto Rico and didn’t hear back. I remembered a friend we met while there last year. We emailed back and forth and he sent me some photos by his home:
After chiseling, sawing and peeling bark for a while, I decided to try and paint/draw right on the bark. I was looking at my images from Puerto Rico as well as images I could find of the same ares post Maria. i was also lookign at the evoluation of some New Orleans architecture. These are all in progress. Hope to get more accomplished for next week. Looking to do some burning.
