crosses update

Hi, Wonder Women —

I am in Boston with my brother, who is playing two shows this week & has great carpentry skills.  Unfortunately, we haven’t started building yet because I ran into some confusion about how I wanted it designed.

I’m going to talk to Pollie’s contacts who did LED Lights Forever to see if they have any ideas, but I’m pretty sure I cannot get the effect I want unless the screen is the back wall of the box (and has no space around it).  When done like this, the picture repeats in a really nice way in all directions.  It seems like if you stick your head it, you would see yourself looking at the screen forever.  The repeating effect only works if the original image has mirrors that face each other on all four sides
If I use a smaller screener, there are breaks between the picture and if I try to put it in on one of the side mirrors, the back wall becomes flat (no repeating) and just reflects the person looking in.  I am going to bring the model I’ve been using in on Sunday so you guys can get a better picture, I know it’s not that helpful to describe.

I’m thinking I may try to use my laptop as the screen after all.  because the dimensions of the screen will likely be smaller than the medicine cabinet, i’m thinking I may do something like have one shelf still in the cabinet or something like that.
I am hoping to get a medicine cabinet that looks like this. There was a used one on craigslist, but it may be gone.
