This project is a work in progress in patience, a character trait that in many cultures signifies “woman” tout court. Women who stand by and weave or sew while the world turns around them are the symbol of that patience that can create signification; jasmine lei is a nostalgic thinking both personal and social of places and people.It is often kept as a memento of the special memories of the occasion.
