Update #2

Ok, so I painted the frame and started adding the tape. Here are some pics. I haven’t wrapped it around the center yet. I’m not so sure I’m digging the way it looks on the corners. I think its something that has to look really perfect to get the right effect. The tape is also so delicate I’m not sure how this will make it through transport, even with a truck.

So, I’m thinking I will do another test of it around a simple wooden box. That way it will more likely keep the material intact and I won’t have to go strip by strip like I have to on this frame. Once I have this down, I’ll make 3 wooden boxes of varying heights and stack them on top of one another. The tape would run horizontally and vertically on different sides of the box (i.e. horizontally on the front and back, vertically on the sides, and it could switch).
