Spare the rod, Spoil the god (working title)

A collection of relics.  Work inspired by the domestic corporeal punishment
utensils the mother-of-god used on god.

I have been leaning towards creating a multiple, am considering allowing my opinion to have a great deal of weight with this piece.  I have narrowed the punishment objects down to wooden spoon and soap.  The wooden spoon is for action and the soap is for words.  I am currently figuring out how to make many, many relic boxes.  Each one with house either soap or spoon and have clear usage marks on them.  The spoons will be split and therefore forced into retirement.  The soaps are nubs, eroded.

This is where my opinion comes through…god was a very very very bad child. (as I said, any god will do, i’m not picky.  I find they are all pretty spoiled, no matter how pleasant of an upbringing there might have been.)
