Alone in a field of snow, the house is unreachable and seems unsaveable.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>The animation is based on the work of Virginia Lee Burton and Merle Haggard.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>Each artist uses somewhat dramatic symbols to examine the day-to-day events that shape our perceptions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\">The current economic climate has had a big effect on me and the people I know.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>We keep returning to the same feelings and conversations: \u201cHow am I going to pay for everything?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\">This house is a symbol of feelings of insecurity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Default\">I would like to create a still animation\u2014on a shelf would be a series of sculptures of the house burning.<span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Above the sculptures would be a collection of framed pressed pennies. The frames would be\u00a0<span>ornate<\/span>\u00a0(maybe all gold) showcasing the spending of years past.
