Thank you ladies for all the input in the last two weeks. I was able to re-focus my efforts and get making. I have started a painting which is like a gathering for the gathering which is the bird party. All the visitors as well as the hostess, me, can be included in the painting. The decorations, the party hats, the tiny cakes, and the critters, I am a happy lady.<\/p>\n
I am still filming my bird parties and have learned more about the critters. They seem to prefer the green tablecloth to the red. The serving tray directly on the grass attracts the tiny critters, slugs and bugs. The movie will become an on-going project that will live on the\u00a0tumblr.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n Below are the beginnings of a large scale, 10 ft wide x 5 ft tall, painting. My method is sketch, in pencil\/crayon, then draw in oil pastel, then washy acrylic, and\u00a0<\/span>additional\u00a0embellishing with stitches (maybe) and printing (maybe).
