Love and Food<\/a><\/h3>\n

I don\u2019t know how to cook. There have always been wonderful restaurants, friends who are amazing cooks and delis in my life. I am usually only a few steps or a phone call away from good food.\u00a0If let to my own devises I am likely to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and eat it over the sink for dinner. I want to learn how to cook.<\/p>\n

Most of my work for the last 15 years has been about relationships.\u00a0<\/a>How people fall in love and out of love. When I think back on the stories people have told me about love they often include food. The food our family, friends, and lovers make for us is such an inherently loving gesture. They feed us and nurture us. I want to be able to do this for the people I love. I think if I combine my love of love stories and my inability to cook I may very well learn\u00a0the secrets of the kitchen that have alluded me for so long.<\/p>\n

Over the next year I will interview couples about their dinners and romance. They will teach me to make the dinners they fell in love to.<\/p>\n
