Since our last meeting…<\/p>\n
Sunday, after the meeting, I set up the chemistry in the darkroom and made a print (black and white flamingos)<\/p>\n
Monday I waitress at this little Italian restaurant that my boyfriend is a cook at.<\/p>\n
Tuesday I started a new waitressing job that I found out I have to do five days of training.<\/p>\n
Wednesday I trained in the morning and afternoon, then went to meet my boyfriend at the doctor (he has some health problems and has a difficult time going to the doctor alone). On the way home from the doctor, it was dark, and I hit and killed a possum. I after screaming for a few seconds, my boyfriend made me pull over on the side of the road and I cried for 15 minutes.<\/p>\n
Today I was still a little upset about the possum even though my boyfriend cleaned my car last night in the dark so I wouldn’t have to see anything upsetting during the daylight. I trained again today and all day all I could think is “must update blog.. must update blog”.<\/p>\n
So here goes my much needed update!<\/p>\n
Tomorrow has in store for me: training in the morning, HOPEFULLY done by 4pm then straight to Unique Photo to purchase chemistry and paper, then to the studio to print. Printing Friday evening into Saturday.<\/p>\n
Saturday, I will print until about 3pm and then drive back down to Point Pleasant to finish my last day of training! I will HOPEFULLY be finished training at 8pm and drive back up to the studio to print until the meeting on Sunday!<\/p>\n
I’m exhausted just writing it out, but it’s good to have a plan.<\/p>\n
I have put together a tiny short iMovie with some images of the trip, but I can’t figure out how to get it onto the blog. I can’t seem to export it to a small enough file<\/p>\n
I also have an audio clip of my grandmother and I talking. That file is small enough but I can’t get it to work either.<\/p>\n
I’m learning I have patience to hang out with old people who move like snails but not to sit here and deal with technology.<\/p>\n
I apologize, this was less of an update and more of a rant. I will have more to say when I can keep my eyes open.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
