Theresa Smith, the subject in the audio sample, served as an introduction into the larger body of work.  The group gave clear and thoughtful direction to how the focus the work, currently a 12 minute piece, which needed to be whittled \u00a0into a three to five minute piece. \u00a0With the focus now back on one of my original intentions, to create version of a monument to these women, the narratives will focus on their successes, their resolve and their strength as women and soldiers.<br \/>\nThis week has been applying this framework to Theresa&#8217;s narrative and now to some of the other participants, Colleen, Penny, Carol Ann and Jenny.  Once a rough edit is done for each piece, I am going to start to weave them together to form an entirely unique narrative of these women who have served.
