Below my original proposal.<\/p>\n<p> I have had a fear and fascination with bees since I was young, and I have a series of prints and drawings of bees. This book which is still in the planning stage involves honey and its use as a preservative-in this case the ability to rejuvenate the dead. My thinking has been to create something of the past involving Egyptian mummy queens and the ULTIMATE anti-aging product. This book relates to the subject Mother of God in that it is about an archetype of women that has continued through history. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m very excited at the opportunity to talk about the Mother of God, feminism, the power of women, and what it all means today. Of course Mary leaps to mind when I read &#8220;Mother of God&#8221;, but the phrase can be stretched to fit many different cultures, times and places. Although it doesn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t always appear so in a male dominated society, one of woman\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s \u00e2\u20ac\u0153special powers\u00e2\u20ac\u009dis to be a mother, and perhaps there is a mother for the god(dess) that exists in each of us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi all, It was inspiring to meet all of you last Sun and hear all the kick-ass projects!
