It was wonderful to meet all of you yesterday! You all have kick-ass ideas – can’t wait to see them in action! <\/strong><\/p>\n

My Project Proposal:<\/strong><\/p>\n

I plan to create 6 3″ x 4″ paintings of myself, and to partially cover each painting by sewing the words of the “Hail Mary” prayer over each painting. I plan to apply very little text to the first painting, allowing nearly the entire figure to show, and to apply more and more text to each successive painting, so that the last painting is completely obscured by the text.<\/p>\n

I plan to use an identical pose for each painting, so that the only variable between the paintings is the amount of text that will be applied to them. The pose is taken from the following passages from Ayn Rand’s The Fountainhead<\/em>, the first of which describes a proposal for a sculpture project, and the second of which describes the model’s pose for the sculpture.<\/p>\n
